Ben Folds Concert

I had a really cool dream last night, in fact it was vivid that I thought I was actually there.

I was at a Ben Folds concert in Adelaide with some of my friends (including two of my friends who also like BF). I was so excited because I've never been to an actual concert like that, let alone a Ben Folds concert. When we got there, we had to go into the stand/mosh pit section behind the VIP section which was right up the front before the stage. As we were walking past all the really cool kids dancing in the VIP section, I saw one of my friends (sunshinetaylor) amongst it. I was incredibly jealous because I wanted to be up the front, nice and close to Ben. Haha!

During the concert, Ben asked me and my friends to come up on the stage and do something. I can't remember what we did, but he thought it was so awesome that he let us into the VIP section. I was so stoked. Me and my friends were really happy, so we started dancing around with the other cool kids. I called out to Tay really loudly and she didn't hear me, I think she was ignoring me or something. lol!

After the concert finished, me and my friends headed to the merchandise stall. The prices were ridiculous. There was some notebooks and stuff that had supposedly Ben's writing all over them, and they were about $200-$400 each through auctioning. So I bought a piece of paper with Ben's writing on it, for about $1.

That dream, by far, is probably one of the best dreams I've ever had. Excitement wise.

Only You

This morning before I woke up, I had the most wonderful but depressing dream.

I was living with this family of a mum and a daughter in the country, on a farm. A fairly famous singer/acoustic guitar guy was in town for a show. I went to the show with some of my friends I had made in that town. After the show, when I had returned home back to the farm, the guy came to the house to visit me. It was then and there I fell in love with the most wonderful Mr Right. He fell for me too, which is why he came over to say hi. We became really good friends and lovers. My friends didn't believe me when I told them he came round to visit. The man of my dreams laughed when I told him that.

I remember his face, he looked a lot like one of the actors off of the Australian show Blue Water High... who is now the host for Creature Features. He looked a bit more attractive than in this photo.

But I couldn't help but feel so content and incredibly happy when I was in his arms, when he sang to me as he played his guitar, when we both looked and smiled at each other.

Then I woke up and realised that it was only a dream, nothing more. The man of my dreams isn't real, I haven't fallen for him and he hasn't fallen for me. Over and over I just can't stop thinking about him and the fact that he isn't real. It's almost as if a wave of sadness and rejection has come over me and affected the way I feel today.

Where are you?

Familar Roller Bass Theif Dreams.

Last night I had three dreams, from what I can recall.

First dream was another one of those 'familiar' dreams. For most of my life, me and my family have moved houses quite a lot. This is something like our 12th house, it's because we rent and more than often we will move simply because the contract is up or the landlord wants to sell the house.
Anyway, so in my first dream me, my mum and my brother were house hunting. The only house I remember looking at was really beautiful, it was like a colonial style house, possibly even several decades old. We knocked on the front door and this lady answered it, my mum (instead of telling her we wanted to look in the house) told her we wanted to come in to eat our food. So we sat down in the lounge room and ate our fish and chips that we had with us. Then my mum gave the lady some of our food because she was a bit poor, and I recognized the lady as an old family friend we know. Her husband came in and ate some of the food and then when they weren't looking, I stole some of their chips. I'd never do something like that! Only in my dreams...

Second dream is a bit complicated trying to remember what exactly happened. I was on a camp/holiday somewhere in the countryside, with the youth group I used to be a leader at, although in my dream I was still a leader. But this campsite we stayed at was really awesome, there was a huge roller coaster that went alongside a mountain. I remember going somewhere with the youth pastor, another leader and a cop, where we saw a guy jump a fence and try and get into a house. The cop got out of the car and caught the guy. Then he came into the car with the thief. We then drove back to the campsite and went back to the roller coaster, where the cop brought the thief unto the roller coaster with him. I was in line, and didn't get to go on the roller coaster because that was the last turn of the day and they had to stop the roller coaster. I felt heaps disappointed.

My third dream I remember a bit more vividly. I was in a town along a peninsula in Victoria, which was the same town where my first exboyfriend lives. I was in a town hall, where we were having some sort of concert, although it did remind me a lot of the worship band we had in assembly at school because everyone was wearing school uniforms similar to the uniform at my school. My exboyfriend was there, playing the bass. Then he got off stage after the first song, so the band asked me to play bass for them. I am, and in the dream I was, quite aware that I cannot play bass guitar at all, I have never even held a bass. So I played for them anyway, strumming the bass and smiling and jumping around to the song so it'd look like I actually knew what I was doing. But I couldn't hear a really bad bass sound coming from the speakers so I thought I was okay. I saw my exboyfriend in the audience and he looked heaps angry, as if he was annoyed that I was having a good time (long story short... he hasn't got along with me ever since I broke up with him and is one of those people who like to see me suffer). Which I was having a good time, even though I didn't know how to play the bass. I recognize the song we were playing, I think it was something from Hillsong, but a fairly old song. I think it was History Maker, although now I'm not sure. It's going to be bugging me all day! Anyway we were playing the song and that's when I woke up.

American Dreams

So after thinking for some time, I have finally decided to make another blog dedicated to telling of my dreams. Not the dreams of the future but the night time dreams. Sometimes I have the strangest dreams and I always forget to write them down somewhere so I thought this would be a better idea to reaccount all of my dreams.

Recently I have been hoping to go to America for a holiday sometime within the next year, so it would only make sense that last night I was there in my dreams. I had gone and visited one of my good friends Ross in Alabama, where he introduced me to his friends from cheerleading and we all hung out together. I felt a bit inadequate, because I was the foreigner and I'm not a cheerleader. I think we still had some fun though.

After the trek down south I headed up to Maryland (which was oddly right up in the north west of USA instead of the eastern coast) where I stayed at Taylor's (sunshinetaylor) house where her sister and Kevin (AceOfHearts101) were also. Tay and Blair's house was HUGE and I don't mean 2 or 3 storey house huge, it was all one level but there was loads of bedrooms and a huge kitchen and bathroom and loads of hallways and ways to get lost in that house. We all slept on the floor in the living room, well Tay slept... me, Blair and Kevin stayed up and talked almost all night. Tay kept waking up and telling us to shut up and go to sleep. I got up sometime in the morning to go get stuff and have a shower but then discovered that the shower was taken, which was another odd thing, because as far as I knew no one else was in the house. Then a woman (I presume was Tay and Blair's mum) came out into the kitchen and told me her husband was using the bathroom, I then recognised the woman as my exboyfriend's mother and then also the same for the father. But they were still Tay and Blair's parents. Throughout my whole time at that house, I made myself very at home, I climbed over the kitchen bench whenever I had to get to the bedroom where my stuff was.

That's pretty much all I can make of it. It was a pretty strange my cool dream anyhow.
I definitely hope I get to make it come true somehow, the travelling to America and seeing my friends whithout all the really freaky and strange things happening.
